Dai Young - why would anyone really want to listen to anything that you had to say after the results that you predicted for Saturday lol - Are you really that good a judge of how good a player is when they dont even play at the higher level in the Pyaramid System ???

Thanks but why is it called the South Wales FA team if its drawn soley from the Amateur League?
There are loads of leagues throughout South Wales so why our league?
Ive seen excellent players in TERV and Merthyr leagues who would shine heavily in this league.

Damien a very good looking site but the 2008 to 2009 heading above the team photos gives the impression its last seasons website not updated. Its got alot of potential and professional looking so well done.
I'm so glad I was so wrong(I think I spelled wrong correctly!) about the weekend results and am delighted to see Rhhose and Rhydyfelin in the cup semis.Shocked to say the least!
To give them a great chance of reaching the final I'm tipping Sully Sports and Saint Athan to win the semis. This should ensure an all Amateur League final!!
Ps,who is the manager of the rpresentative team and what club is he from? Also why havent the Senior League entered a rep team does anyone know?

New website under construction. Only basic info on there at the moment, and still a bit buggy, but if anybody wants to link to it from their website, please feel free - and we'll reciprocate.
Webmaster, can this also be added to the Dracs info page too, please? Also, There are a few links to this website - hope this is okay?
Thanks

Craig - it depends on what ban you have been given. If it is a match ban, you will be allowed to watch games but not participate in any way whatsoever. If it is a total football ban, then you are not allowed to even watch. I think you have been given a match ban so you could go to the Inter League game - but behave!!!!

With regards our keeper i didnt nominate him for the squad because when the list came through i thought it had said something along the lines of if a player had been at a pro club they were ineligble and our keeper had been at Cardiff as a youngster. I am beginning to have doubts that this was correct now though. Good luck to the team for the upcoming games

We needed a last minute penalty on Saturday against Taffs Well to get a point. We didnt play well, but Credit to them, even though they are going out of the league at the end of the season, their young side are still giving everything, and they play some nice football.

Yes Johnny you are 100% correct about the referee. He had an excellent game which did help the game flow. Must also mention the ref at our game with llantwit Major in midweek, obvioulsy it did cause a lot of discussion on here, but after the game he was open about his decisions, he came back to the club for food and did speak to the lad he had sent off for a second yellow to explain why plus he sat with me for a good 20 minutes explaining his decisions and talking about the game in general which was good to see.

Have to agree with all your comments, one thing in my opinion, you left out how well the referee did, perhaps one of the best I've seen this season, I thought he was firm but fair, and contributed to an excellent game of football by being discrete in his performance.

Like to thank Ian and Bill at Caerau for their help yesterday before and during game, (there is a pint over the bar for you at Treforest. On to game our 8 match unbeaten run ended with a bang to an excellent team. We actually didnt play that badly but Caerau didnt have a weakness right throughout team and were clinical. They were well organised, used the ball excellently and stuck to their game plan. Best goal of the day was Kyle Morris 30 yarder which beat our keeper who in my opinion is one of the best in the league. What impressed me most of all was even with winning comfortably their players didnt try and take the mick and showed respect to us. They will be worthy winners of the amateur league and will do really well in Welsh league (before anyone says they got to get there first in my opinion they will no problem). Well done to Rhyd and Rhooose too!

Gibbo – Just glad to be of service mate!! Well done Rhyd and congratulations, great win against Bridgend St. We watched them a few weeks ago and were very impressed – good balance throughout the side and lots of talent, they can really hurt you if you let them. However, If I’d have known about your bookie giving 5 to 1 for a Rhyd and Rhoose double I’d have had some of that myself, that’s great value given that we were both at home – if he carries on offering odds like that he won’t be a bookie much longer!!! Wot’s he offering for the semis?!!
Massive win for us too. We were back to our old selves more or less after having been in a dark place for the past few weeks with our form seemingly deserting us. But our form seems to be returning now and I hope we can push on from this. We finished our chances and were knocking the ball about with confidence again.
We went two up in the first half with the slope and a bit of a breeze, Penydarren came back at us as expected and put us under a lot of pressure, their number 11 is really dangerous and quick – good player, and they are really well organised. But we battled well and made a few good chances ourselves. We eventually put the tie to bed late on with our third goal. The ref handled the game really well – I think there was only one booking and that wasn’t us for a change!! Also, an achievement for Vale of Glamorgan football with 3 teams in the semis (St Athan, Sully and us). Looking forward to the semis at Sully and hosting Rhyd down our place next Saturday.

A really good win for Caerau yesterday against a good battling Treforest side. Caerau took an early two goal lead and went into the break looking strong. Caerau extended the lead early in the second half and were 5 - 0 up but seemed to ease up, Treforest continued to play football and deservedly scored 2 goals, which spurned Caerau on to go and finish the game off. A superb 30 yd strike was probably the pick of the goals. Good luck to Treforest for the rest of the season. Congratulations to Rhydyfelin and Rhoose on their excellent wins in the Senior Cup, Dai your silence is almost deafening ; - )

The Trelewis score was 8-3 to Blaenrhondda. Not looking to make an issue of it but it does effect the goal difference in the long run. Plus I do not score often and the boys will say it was my goal that does not count because my finishing is so poor. Now I have found my scoring boots please could the score be rectified.
